Bill Cummings joined CEO in 2012 after being invited by Dawna Bledsoe, a long time business associate. He’s enjoyed what CEO has done for him personally and professionally ever since.
Bill moved to the area in 1979 and met his bride Cathy in 1982. They are proud parents of three and hope to one day, leave their business (which was founded in 1999) to their son.
With Bill, you can rest assured, if he can’t fix it, he’ll let you know and connect you with the best per- son to complete the job. It’s always been about his customers and standing behind his work. Customer service is their number one priority! They realize they are coming into your home and want to leave it without a trace that they were ever there. One way to insure their company stays at the top of the word of mouth referral list is to do a customer survey the day after a visit was made. This isn’t a secret to his employees which Bill fills raises the bar and the expectations of his employees to go above and beyond just doing their job, and doing it exceptionally well!
Most of Ability Air’s work is residential, retrofit and maintenance, the majority by way of referral. They do some commercial but prefers to stay with their specialty. They offer annual service plans, which he says everyone should have as you can’t beat it! CEO members that have get a 15% discount off repairs!
Bill also has great connections for mold and air duct cleaning should you have the need and highly recommends having home inspections done if buying or selling. Dawna shared that HVAC is the number one issue when buying or selling a home and must be taken care of.
They have grown their business to 13 full-time employees and one part-time. Ability offers a 10 year craftsmanship warrant on all their work! It’s always trustworthy service, every time!
As stated earlier, Bill really enjoys being part of CEO. It’s raised the bar for he, his employees and his business and grown him professionally. He is no longer nervous about speaking in front of groups and truly appreciates that opportunity to serve and assist each CEO member when the time arises!
