Jim grew up in St Louis, MO and is a graduate of the University of MO @ Columbia. After college, he joined the Air Force and flew KC135s most of his 20 year career. His last assignment was at Barksdale and here he stayed. He was given the opportunity to come on board with Pop A Lock as a manager in 1994 and eventually, was given the Shreveport franchise.
In the beginning, Pop A Lock only did car unlocking. They’ve evolved over the years and now meet the demands of customers in numerous ways. Employees are also required go to school to learn the locksmith trade and train on the job for some time before releasing them to work on their own. Some of the services they provide:

Some of the biggest changes in the industry are that of vehicle manufacturers going towards immobilizers and getting away from metal keys. Pop A Lock now has a machine that can program keys for these new locks, even European cars.
