Marshall Hebert started selling cars in 1965 and after Mark graduated from La Tech, he joined him in the business. Now, that tradition continues with Mark’s three boys (Chris, Beau & Drew) being a huge part of Hebert’s success.
When the Linwood Auto Mile began to transition in 1999, the family moved what was then, the Bob Post Dealership to Bert Kouns and with the move, changed the name to Hebert’s Town & Country. In addition to being a Chrysler Plymouth dealer, they added Dodge in 2007 which brought trucks into their inventory.
In 2010, the Hebert’s purchased JC Johnson Ford in Minden and added Ford
and Lincoln to their line. Both locations remain locally owned and operated by the Hebert family and their founder, Marshall, still comes in every morning to kick the day off right. They now have just under 100 employees at the Bert Kouns location, seven of which have been with the family over 30 years and a large number that have been there over 20. They invest a lot of time and money into training their staff and currently have five master technicians on staff and about 50 employees alone that are dedicated to servicing their line of vehicles. They truly believe it’s the people that make the difference and Mark is confident that his boys will continue to make sure things are done right and the business remains family owned and operated.

Chrysler has now had 61 months straight of year after year growth and is currently on track to beat the previous years records. In 1999, Hebert’s total sales were $33million and 2014 they saw total sales at $82million.
Some of the unique vehicles you can find at Hebert’s are the new Rocky Ridge Jeep which is covered in Kevlar, like a bed liner material which doesn’t fade. The Challenger Hell Cat has a HP of 707, starts in the low $60s and is a limited production vehicle. The Charger line is about to offer their version of the Hell Cat for those that want a four door option. Also special in their inventory is their “Ignition Orange” truck, a limited edition RAM 1500 crew cab.
They maintain about 550 vehicles in stock and keep a large pre-owned inventory. They’re pretty good about keeping a large variety and if they don’t have what you are looking for, they can do trades with other dealers which is a common practice. Hebert’s Town and Country wants your business and should be your first call when car or truck shopping.
CEO has been tremendous for the Hebert’s. They not only appreciate being your vehicle dealer of choice but also enjoy many long-term relationship with CEO members as their primary vendors. Mark enjoys the relationships and friends he’s made over the years and always reaches out to CEO members when the need arises.
