Mark Herbert, Hebert’s Town and Country Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep

Mark-Hebert

Marshall Hebert started selling Chryslers and Plymouths in 1974 then moved his way up the ladder to Sales Manager then General Manager. When given the opportunity, he bought the Bob Post Dealership that was originally located on Linwood close to downtown. Mark followed in his footsteps and joined the team after graduating from LA Tech. The business is now in its third generation with Mark’s boys all playing a key role. Bo is his Sales Mgr. and Drew handles the onsite Allstate Agency (unique for a car dealership to house) at the Shreveport location and Chris runs the Ford/Lincoln dealership in Minden they purchased about seven years ago.

Marshall and Mark have served in the automobile industry in numerous ways for many years. They stay involved both on a state level as well as nationally serving on an advertising advisory committee. They have been members of CEO since 1999 and Mark says they can’t even open the doors every day without the members of CEO.

Hebert’s is a Full Service Dealership, including their own body shop which is unusual for a dealership to have. They can take care of the biggest insurance jobs to the smallest like scratches and dings. They recently added a Reconditioning Center to details (twenty-nine) cars and located it in a building behind the Landers Fiat dealership. With that addition, they now do spray in bed liners and can service and detail your vehicle anytime.

Last year, they focused on increasing the capacity for the express lane, to get the customers in and out quickly. They added a four-bay quick service area with its own waiting room and service all makes and models. Hebert’s puts a lot of effort on their services and keeps the staff trained and certified. They’ve risen to #5/69 dealerships of their size in overall experience for service, #1 in how customers were treated by the service advisors and #2 in fixing it right the first time.

The automobile trend now is SUVs. From larger to smaller SUVs like the Jeep Compass, loaded with a lot of new features and technology. Staying true to their heritage of performance – Dodge now was the Challenger Hellcat w/700hp. Coming out soon will be the SRT version of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, a seven passenger Durango and the Dodge Demon with over 800hp (really designed for the dragstrip but is street legal). Completely tricked out, the Demon is $90,000 and being produced in limited supply. Mark was able to get three, two of which are spoken for.

Trucks are a big part of their business. The Ram series trucks are not only being bought for work trucks, but also for luxury. Hebert’s does a lot of heavy duty trucks and Pro-master series vans that range from small cargo to a large cargo van. Their pre-owned business has grown a lot over the past year and they offer many great options for a variety of clients. They’ve sold pre-owned cars for $1,000K up to $100,000,000 and trade for a lot of unique items like motorcycles, RVs and even boats.

If looking for a car and it’s not one of their products, they have access to it and can get it for you. Hebert’s works with dealers all around the region to find what you want and bring it to you. It’s that simple-Call the Hebert family for all your vehicle needs!
