Enjoying a vibrant career as a Physical Therapist since 2002. Greg was invited to interview for a position directly out of school from Miami, Florida, where he accepted a position as a physical therapist at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. Passionate about serving the men and women of the military with whom he shared the honor of serving. Greg is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Greg’s passion for helping others was a driving force in pointing him in the direction of pursuing a career as a therapist. Always eager to observe and volunteer time, he dove head on in therapy clinics, spending time with researching therapists, osteopathic physicians and manually trained experts in the northeast United States. He returned to college and earned his Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Brockport, NY in Applied Studies of Human Development and Biological Function, he then attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL where he received his Masters degree in Physical Therapy graduating in late 2001. Greg later pursued his Doctor of Clinical Physical Therapy graduating in 2007 from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Greg’s research interests are in Wound Care and Wound Management, he achieved becoming a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and was a Board Certified Therapist from 2004 to 2014. He also has an extensive background in Balance Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehab training as a graduate assistant under world class researchers at both University of Miami and Emory University. After leaving his position at the Veterans Administration, Greg started Redmond Physical Therapy Services, LLC consulting in 2007 providing regional home health agencies with skilled results-oriented therapists. Expanding steadily, the staff and therapists were selected from the very best the region had to offer, providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services to a large area of Northeast Texas and Northwest Louisiana. We still offer these services as part of what Eberhardt PT offers everyday. In 2014, Greg and Shelly were honored to take over ownership of Eberhardt Physical Therapy and Wellness Clinic from Terry Eberhardt. With this change in ownership, we strive to carry on the legacy of what Terry has brought to Shreveport-Bossier and build upon and support the wonderful relationships that have been formed while taking care of our neighbors and friends throughout the region.
