In 1977, the Moore family bought Morehead Pools from Paul Morehead. They’ve been members of CEO since 1982 and Michael remembers attending with his grandfather during the summers growing up. The business has stayed in the family with Michael being a third generation President & CEO. Morehead Pools & Spas handles new projects, remodels, retail and service.

Morehead Pools is a member of the Master Pools Guild, a prestigious network of the finest pool builders in the world. Also, Morehead Pools is a member of the PACE group in Scottsdale, Az. PACE is a “think tank” of the nation’s most high tech and progressive pool builders. Membership in either of these highly respected groups is by invitation only. They’ve also been named in the lower half of the Top 50 Pool & Spa Builders in the Nation the past six years and they are soon expected to Certify in the ranks of only 20 Master Water Shape Designers.

Master Planning for a complete outdoor experience is what Morehead does best. If doing the entire project at one time or in phases, they think through the finished product so when you’re ready to add that outdoor kitchen or spa down the road, the design work is already done. One the design is complete, the work starts with forming the pool. They use the highest recommended materials to insure you don’t experience problems down the road. After that comes the concrete application and then the finishing products such as custom blended mosaic glass tile.
