Richard Nicholson, Custom Printed Products

Richard Nicholson and Bob Waddell founded Custom Printed Products 45 years ago in Richard’s garage. Their love of the printing grew through four additional facilities to bring them to where they are today. The pictures below show the progression of CPP.

CPP labels reach all over the US, Canada, Mexico and South America on specialty products and food as well as everyday products, both locally and nationally. Their success…their employees! They currently have 85 total (65 locally and 20 in Edenbburg, VA) and of those, 43 employees have been with CPP now over 23 years! They are the reason CPP can produce hundreds of millions of labels on an annual basis.

The label types vary from foods to motor oils and every- thing in between for companies like Omni, Calumet, ConocoPhillips and more. Conoco alone accounts for about 40 million labels each year and require daily shipments to keep up with their inventory. Old World, the producer of Peak An freeze, diesel additives and motor oils, need approximately 5-10 million label sets per month. The whip cream industry requires around 140-150 million labels/ year for customer like McDonalds, Kroger and Land O Lakes.

CPP also proudly produces labels for our own Randy Bowes and his Gator Detail line. Although most of these are all primarily high quantity needs, CPP can print in much smaller batches.

How do you know if the product you are looking at wears a CPP label? Peel back the seam and look for “CPP” on the inside seam. Once you find it, you know you are proudly supporting a local CEO company!
