Stuart Dubin was born at BAFB and has lived all over the world. After graduating from LA Tech, he started his career as an internal auditor with CNB. From there he worked a number of places and after 18 years doing accounting, he decided to work in the business his wife, Bonnie, started in 1989, Banners Plus Sign Center. When founded, the instant sign concept was really new. There was only one other competitor in town at the time, Signs At Work, unlike now having 30 in the area. What sets them apart and has kept them in business is the established customer base they have. They’ve had clients that have been repeat clients year after year. At one time, they were the exclusive sign company for Danskin and printed and shipped signs and banners all over the world. Above right you’ll see their first sign machine which actually came with 5 different font types. Now they have access to over 1200 fonts and soon, will be doing 3D printing!

Their signs are all printed with outdoor ink to insure they last 4-7 years or more. Banners Plus has the ability to do contour cut decals, large banners, double sided signs, logos and more, all with a quick turn around time. They’ve even designed and built brick and lighted signs.

The next biggest thing in the printing industry is 3D printing. Stuart shared a video that showed the printing creation of a bicycle, wheelchair, small aircraft, shoes, eggs, exoskeleton cast and a motorcycle.
