Tim Kochakian opened his business in 2009 without any prior knowledge or experience in the industry. Today, Novus Auto Glass of Shreveport has already reached a large milestone with Novus nationwide! They are only one of two locations to reach the Presidential Circle of 350 nationwide.
Today, Tim and his staff cover a lot of ground doing a variety of vehicle related work. They currently average:
10-15 windshield replacements/day (and he says this is their slow season)
Annual window tint averages: 500-600 cars, 15-20 businesses, and 10-20 homes.
They also handle the vehicle fleet work for companies such as Tango Transport (about 1,000 Tango trucks travel through our area daily), Chesapeake, Shreveport Police, Penske, UPS, CPSB, JC Fodale and many more. Fleet work accounts for about 40% of their business.
Novus Auto Glass also handles the glass needs for heavy equipment (Bulldozers, Track Hoes, Forklifts, etc) as well as windshields for tractors and RV’s. They use only the best materials on the market and have added a mobile service which is now the most preferred method of their customers.
